WATCH: EE to end Orange Wednesday promotion after over a decade

THE NETWORK provider EE is set to cancel it's two for one promotion, Orange Wednesday, on 25th February.

The offer allows people on the network to recieve buy one get one free cinema tickets by texting 'film' to 241 and also includes offers for popular chain restaurant, Pizza Express.

A spokesperson from the company believes that customers 'viewing habits have changed' and 'it is time to move on.'

EE have also announced that an alternative entertainment offer will be available.

Orange originally created the freebie in 2003, until merging with fellow phone network provider, T-Mobile to become EE in 2010.
