WATCH: Mother of teenage hero #SuperJosh needs your votes

SUPER Josh Charity, which aims to help children with brain tumour, is asking people for their votes as it has the chance to win £5,000 in a competition.

The charity is one of the final 20 organisations that are taking part in the Win the Tin contest with an opportunity to top up their fundraising efforts.

Dawn Fidler was inspired to set up the Super Josh charity by her 14-year-old son Josh Wilson, known to friends as Super Josh.

Josh, who became famous for his bravery and bright outlook, was diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of three.

The teenage hero lost the battle with cancer a month ago but Ms Fidler said his son had left her with a mission:

Cheques will be rewarded to the best three entries – first place £5,000, second place £500, and third place £250.

If Super Josh Charity won one of the cash prizes, it would spend the money on hospital entertainment packages.

People are also showing their support on social media:

The competition ends at midnight on 12 December. You can give your vote here.
